It combines a 10 hour, or optional 40 hour classroom curriculum with a field trip visit to a state-of-the-art city, run by students. Q. How long is the field trip to Enterprise City? A. The onsite visit to Enterprise City last 5 hours. Q. What post-experience follow-up is there? A. After their day at Enterprise City, students have one week (5 hrs) of in-classroom review. Q. What grades can participate? | Q. What businesses are in Enterprise City? A. Bank; Radio Station; Post Office; Heath Center; Newspaper; Restaurant; Utility Company; Distribution Center; City Hall; Technology Center and individual stores and businesses. Q. What will students do?
Students fill out a business loan application, write radio and newspaper advertisements, design business signs and logos, and create business slogans. Students and their businesses pay taxes, bills, and loans as they market a product and make payroll. | Q. What curriculum areas does Enterprise City cover? A. This hands-on learning experience reinforces key school curriculum areas and covers State Frameworks content in: Social Studies, Economics, Language Arts, Math and Technology Skills. Q.
